The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, who helped create the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The renowned video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
