The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
